Description of Service

  • Service allows shippers to more effectively balance their market requirements through the use of 8 nomination windows in a day

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Shipper can use EMB to balance their markets and short-haul supply
  • Flexibility features include renewal rights, assignment rights, and additional nomination windows to better balance daily gas consumption in domestic markets

How to Access this Service

  • Bid for service through a TC Energy held Open Season. Notices are posted on the TC Energy website and detail the capacity offered as well as the bidding process
  • Shipper must sign an EMB contract for the accepted bid with TC Energy
  • Shipper may also sign an Assignment Agreement with TC Energy and the holder of an existing EMB contract to take over all or a portion of that existing contract-holder’s service
